LOS ANGELES–(BUSINESS WIRE)–World Wide Motion Pictures Corporation (formerly OTCBB:WWMO) has acquired exclusive North American distribution rights to WAYS TO LIVE FOREVER, the award-winning, British/Spanish feature film co-venture from El Capitan Pictures, Formato Producciones S.L., and Life & Soul Productions. Based on Sally Nicholls’ best-selling British children’s novel of the same name, the touching family picture has been showcased at numerous international film festivals. Directed by Gustavo Ron and featuring brilliant performances by Robbie Kay (Fugitive Pieces, Pinocchio) and Alex Etel (Millions), WAYS TO LIVE FOREVER tells the inspiring and humorous story of Sam and his best friend, Felix: two young boys whose battle with leukemia prompts them to grow up fast, make their mark, and achieve their dreams. Rounding out the cast are Ben Chaplin (Me And Orson Welles, The Remains Of The Day), Emilia Fox (The Pianist), Ella Purnell (Intruders, Never Let Me Go), and Greta Scacchi (Emma, The Player).

World Wide is currently reviewing partnership opportunities with a variety of prestigious corporations and nonprofit organizations throughout the US, including research hospitals, children’s cancer groups and foundations, to help gain increased exposure for this important motion picture.

“Because of the powerful message that this film presents concerning children’s cancer and World Wide’s desire to help fund a cure, we have decided to share a portion of the film’s US theatrical box-office revenue with select, cancer-related organizations nationwide,” President/CEO Paul Hancock reveals.

The acquisition of WAYS TO LIVE FOREVER continues World Wide’s strategy of distributing high-profile, award-winning international films to a potentially lucrative North American market. “We are thrilled to be bringing such a wonderful picture to American audiences and anticipate success similar to what was achieved with our last family film, Amy, from Australia,” Hancock further states.

Founded in 1977, World Wide Motion Pictures Corporation is a diversified company with shareholders throughout the world, primarily involved in the development, financing, production and distribution of feature films, documentaries, short subjects, industrials and television productions.
