Founded in 1977, World Wide Motion Pictures Corporation is a diversified company, primarily engaged in the development, packaging, production, acquisition, and distribution of live-action motion picture and television productions for theatrical exhibition, television broadcast, syndication and all other ancillary markets. The company’s productions and services are designed for global consumption, utilizing sales and marketing channels in territories throughout the world. The company also serves as a consulting and advisory entity to the film and television industry in a variety of related areas. The expertise and experience of the company’s executive leadership, consistently deliver outstanding results for each and one of its artistic and business community clients, partners, and collaborators.

The company’s specialty over the past 20+ years has been domestic theatrical releasing, with the goal of finding feature length titles that would both entertain and inspire a U.S. audience. We consider for general release all genres except animation. Our protocol starts with a limited platform release in key cities to build a footprint for the film in the U.S. (and sometimes also Canada) while simultaneously generating critical review throughout traditional and social media, and then widening the film’s release according to time-tested demand indicators. The majority of the company’s releases have consisted of award-winning and critically acclaimed foreign language titles from a wide variety of different countries, several of which have enjoyed Academy Award and Golden Globe short list recognition.

The company has an active Board of Directors; which currently consists of 12 members with staggered terms, all of whom are either the chairperson or a member of one or more of the four Board designated committees which include Executive, Finance, Audit and Personnel. The company also maintains several operating committees including Production and Product Development, Special Projects, Minorities, and Standards. Founding members of the company include Academy Award winning and nominated producers and directors such as the legendary Director Otto Preminger and Best-Selling Author/Screenwriter Elmore Leonard.
